Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of FinestCV’s CV analysis, job matching, application tracking and related career tools.

These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and FinestCV, 483 Green Lanes, London, N13 4FG, United Kingdom. By creating an account, buying a service or otherwise using FinestCV, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be legally capable of entering this agreement. If you are under 18, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or guardian, who must make any purchase on your behalf.
FinestCV offers tools that may include document parsing, CV review, explainable screening simulations, job matching, generated drafts, job discovery, application and outcome tracking, interview preparation and paid career services. Feature availability may depend on your location, plan and connected services.
Automated assessments simulate common applicant-tracking and recruiter-review principles. They do not reproduce a specific employer’s system, provide legal or regulated professional advice, make a hiring decision, or guarantee an interview, offer, salary or other outcome.
You must provide accurate account information, keep access to your sign-in method secure and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care.
You may choose to sign in with Google. You may also connect Gmail, Outlook.com or a Microsoft 365 mailbox for automatic application outcome tracking. You authorise us to access only the data and permissions shown during connection, for the purposes described in our Privacy Notice. You can revoke a connection at any time. Third-party services have their own terms and may change or become unavailable independently of FinestCV.
You retain ownership of the CVs, job information, career evidence, application data and other content you provide. You grant FinestCV a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the services you request.
You agree that you will:
Automated systems can misunderstand documents, messages, job requirements or career history. Scores, classifications, rewrites, suggested application outcomes and other outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. You must review them and decide whether they are suitable for your circumstances before using or sharing them.
FinestCV does not submit applications, contact employers or change a recorded application outcome without the action or permission described in the relevant feature. Automated outcome tracking may propose tracker updates based on messages from a connected Gmail, Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 mailbox; you remain in control of the saved application record.
You must not:
Current prices, currency, taxes, billing interval and included access are displayed before you confirm payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never rely on a success-page redirect alone to grant paid access; access begins after payment is verified. One-time purchases and subscriptions provide the entitlements described at checkout and are personal to your account.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the interval shown at checkout until cancelled. You may cancel future renewal through the billing portal; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Except where the checkout terms, our refund policy or applicable law say otherwise, charges already incurred are non-refundable. Nothing in these terms limits statutory cancellation, refund or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
FinestCV and its licensors own the service, software, design, branding, scoring policies and service-generated materials, excluding your content. Subject to these terms, we give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service and download outputs for your personal career search. You may not present FinestCV’s service, reports or branding as your own commercial product.
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may maintain, update, limit or discontinue features for security, legal or operational reasons. Where a material change adversely affects a paid service, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable and honour any rights required by law.
You may stop using FinestCV at any time and request account deletion through your privacy settings. Deleting an account does not itself cancel an active subscription unless the product expressly says so, so cancel recurring billing first.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a security risk, non-payment, unlawful use or a material breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. Provisions intended to survive termination, including payment, ownership and liability terms, will continue.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care, but not loss that was not foreseeable or is business-related.
If you use the service for business purposes, to the fullest extent permitted by law FinestCV excludes implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, opportunity, goodwill or data. Our total liability arising from a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid for that service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory protections of the country where you live and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law. Otherwise, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or law. We will update the date above and give reasonable notice of material changes. Your continued use after the effective date means the updated terms apply, subject to rights that cannot be waived by contract.
